Mike is a native of Vicksburg, MS. Being raised on a small family farm instilled in him a strong work ethic and family values. These are still his core principles. Mike started his working career as a shipyard welder then moved quickly to commercial construction. Mike has extensive experience in residential and commercial construction from those early years. After leaving the construction business he began a career in the steel business. Mike spent many years in the steel business relocating his family due to corporate expansions and personal promotions. Over the years, he and his family had opportunities to live in several different regions of this country. This has provided him much experience in purchasing, selling and renovating homes.
Mike has spent much of his working life in operations, new plant startups, logistics, financial cost analysis and a broad range of problem-solving roles. This work also included significant experience in the area of commercial property and building logistics.
Recently Mike and his wife decided it was time to transition to quasi-retirement. From their frequent visits to family, located in the area, they have come to appreciate the beautiful West Tennessee area. They recently built their dream home in Carroll County on the 1,000 Acre Lake (Lake Halford) and look forward to this being their final family home.
Mike is excited to transition to a career that allows him to continue to work, help people, and contribute to the community. He believes his broad personal and work experiences give him a unique insight into the needs of both the buyer and the seller. Relocating from other geographical areas or within this region each present unique challenges. He looks forward to the opportunity to assist both buyers and sellers in realizing their goals for living in the beautiful West Tennessee area.
